On May 27th, Mr. An Qinghu, Director General of CTMO, met with Mr. Geoff Binns and Ms. Helen Dawson, the two Australian experts who had come Beijing for “APEC Technical Assistance Program: Geographical Indications” held from May 26th to May 27th, as well as Mr. Ian Macintosh, First Secretary (Economic), Australian Embassy in China. Mr. An expressed his gratitude for the experts’ arduous work and made an introduction to China’s protection of trademarks and geographical indications. Both parties expressed their hope to further strengthen future cooperation in the field of trademarks.
